Batter
A talented white and red ball batter and one of the sharpest fielders in the country, Jordan Silk’s career for Tasmania has been nothing short of spectacular.
With over 4000 first class runs in the middle order with an average of 32, Silk has delivered time and time again in pressure situations when his side has needed him most. This has already been illustrated in the current season – a dazzling 83* against Western Australia sealed a famous win in a thrilling Sheffield Shield run chase.
Also registering innings of 100* and 90* in the Shield and Marsh Cup respectively, Silk is demonstrating his ability to dominate an innings and lead from the front superbly, and Tasmania can be confident Silk will continue to impress for years to come.
