The return of three big name Tasmanian players headlines tomorrow's One Day Cup match against Victoria.
After defeating Victoria in a tightly fought Shield match up yesterday, the Tigers will be backing it up tomorrow at Ninja Stadium.
Playing in the One Day Cup last week against New South Wales, where Tasmanian One Day Cup debuts were handed to Launceston local, Aidan O'Connor, and all-rounder Will Prestwidge, Tasmania were defeated pretty convincingly by the 'blues'.
Scoring 205 runs from their 50 overs, with none of the Tigers batters scoring over 40 runs, a strong bowling performance was needed to get them over the line.
NSW chased down the Tigers total only three wickets down with 11.3 overs remaining, as Gabe Bell was the only player to take wickets, taking 3-29 from his 10 overs in front of his hometown Trevallyn crowd.
Tomorrow's day/night match at Ninja Stadium sees Australian test representative Beau Webster return to the squad, after playing for the Aussies across the past two months against India and in Sri Lanka.
Also available for selection are BBL|14 Team of the Season members Mitch Owen and Tom Rogers, who both played in the SAT20 over the last two weeks and will be looking to carry over their form from the BBL to the One Day Cup for their state.
Coming out of Tasmania's squad is Gabe Bell, who is being rested after a heavy workload in the Shield match over the past four days, while Nathan Ellis remains unavailable as he represents Australia in the Champions Trophy.
