The Tasmanian Tigers have named their squad for the first home games of the Women’s National Cricket League 2024-25 Season, with 15 players named in their squad where they are taking on New South Wales.
The Tasmanian Tigers WNCL squad for their fifth and sixth match of the season against New South Wales on Saturday consists of:
Nicola Carey
Julia Cavanough
Maisy Gibson
Heather Graham
Ruth Johnston
Beth Lane
Lizelle Lee
Emma Manix-Geeves
Tabatha Saville
Amy Smith
Lauren Smith
Naomi Stalenberg
Molly Strano
Elyse Villani (C)
Callie Wilson
Hayley Silver-Holmes unavailable due to elbow injury that kept her out of WBBL and Rachel Trenaman continues her rehab on her knee.
Amy Smith returns to the squad after missing the first four WNCL games with a lower leg injury, and Heather Graham returns after a foot injury kept her out of the second game against South Australia back in September.
Tasmania is currently sitting in third place, with two wins and two losses. Two wins in these matches against NSW would see them return to the Top Two before the Christmas Break, and ahead of what could be a potential fourth consecutive WNCL Title.
