National Indigenous Cricket Championships

The Tasmanian men's indigenous cricket team departed for Alice Springs today, ahead of their first match of Cricket Australia’s National Indigenous Cricket Championships, to be held from February 22 through to 28.

Beginning tomorrow, the team will play a series of Twenty20 matches across six days of competition, before the tournament culminates in a day of finals.

Wednesday 22 February
Round 1 – Western Australia v Tasmania – Albrecht Oval @ 8.30am ACST
 
Thursday 23 February
Round 2 – Tasmania v Northern Territory – Jim McConville Oval @ 8am ACST
 
Friday 24 February
Round 3 - New South Wales v Tasmania - Jim McConville Oval @ 12pm ACST

Saturday 25 February
Round 4 - Tasmania v Queensland - Traeger Park @ 9am ACST

Sunday 26 February
Round 5 - Tasmania v South Australia - Jim McConville Oval @ 11.30am ACST

Monday 27 February
Round 6 - Victoria v Tasmania - Albrecht Oval @ 12pm ACST
 
Tuesday 28 February - FINALS DAY
